Kia papaki atu rā ngā tai o whakamānawa o Te Waitematā ki a Mauao, ki a Ngāi Te Rangi tae noa atu rā ki a Raukawa, ki a Muaūpoko anō hoki. Ko wai ia rā te tangata, ko Ripeka Murray – he pūkenga, he wānanga, mō te anamata te take!
He aunui nō Tauranga Moana e kawe kau mai ana i tōna tino mate nui ki te oranga nuitanga o ngā uri whakaheke, he whakapono nōna ki te hirahira me te tapu o ngā kura tuku iho i wheako ai ia; kura ā-iwi mai, kaupapa Māori mai, hautūtanga mai anō hoki. Māna anō ēnei e whakatakoto hei tūāpapa mō tō tātou kura hou.
Kua hia tau nei a Ripeka e whakamomori ana i a ia anō mō tōna ake iwi me ōna hapori, i tōna wāhi tupu, i Matakana. Nā konā, ka mā te ara kōkiri i ngā whānau kia tupu, kia ora, ā uri whakaheke mai. Nā tōna hononga hoki ki a tātou me ō tātou ake wawata mō te anamata, kāore hoki te whakapono o Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei ki a ia, ki ōna pūkenga hautūtanga me tōna manawa matapopore mai.
The Tumuaki provides overall leadership for the kura, setting the direction for teaching and learning, guiding staff, and building strong relationships with whānau and the wider community. This role ensures the kura remains grounded in Ngāti Whātua Ōrākeitanga while creating a learning environment where rangatahi can thrive.

Kura Administrator
The Kura Administrator supports the smooth day-to-day running of the kura, including communications, enrolment processes, records, and coordination of practical matters. This role is often the first point of contact for whānau and helps ensure systems, information and support are in place for ākonga and staff.

Pouako
Pouako lead day-to-day teaching and learning, designing engaging Māori-medium learning experiences that reflect Ngāti Whātua Ōrākeitanga and support each ākonga to grow in reo, confidence and capability. They also work closely with whānau to support progress, wellbeing and strong learning partnerships.
